The Catholic 540-AM Community Calendar is a free resource to help promote Catholic events throughout the dioceses we serve. We ask that submissions be made at least THREE WEEKS prior to the event. Requests placed after the three week deadline may not be able to be posted or broadcast on the air, due to time constraints.
We also ask that your parish or organization display materials that promote Catholic 540 Divine Mercy Radio at your church or event in exchange for this free promotional service. These materials will be shipped to the address you provide us at no cost to you.
Due to limited space, we can only consider events that provide Catholic edification or education or are fundraisers for Catholic organizations. All events go through a review process to ensure this criterion is met.
If approved, the event is placed on our online calendar generally within one week after receipt of the submission, and is broadcast on the air during the two weeks preceding the event. The event may be broadcast sooner than the two week window when there is available air time. On-air announcements will be edited for time.

Family Honor is offering the 12-hour course, "Understanding the Human Person," at St. Michael the Archangel in Cary on the weekend of February 4 and 5, 2022 beginning at 1:00 pm on Friday afternoon and resuming Saturday from 9 am to 2 pm. The course will give an understanding of the Catholic teachings about sexuality, love, marriage, parenting and family, and how to express them to others. Topics include St. John Paul II's Theology of the Body, the Roots of the Sexual Revolution, Fertility Appreciation, child development and the importance of family, Male-female complementarity, and gender identity and gender confusion. There will be approximately 12 hours of instruction. Dinner on Friday night and lunch on Saturday are included in the course fee, along with books and materials. Participation will be limited to 20 students.
The fee for this course is $150, but registrations received by January 15 will have an early bird discount of $25. Those who go on to train and become a presenter for the Raleigh area will be fully reimbursed by our local Family Honor affiliate. The message of Family Honor is needed more than ever in this tumultuous time, and we are hoping to train several more presenters to serve on our team and spread the message of Family Honor far and wide. But you do not have to become a presenter to take the course.
