Community Calendar

The Catholic 540-AM Community Calendar is a free resource to help promote Catholic events throughout the dioceses we serve. We ask that submissions be made at least THREE WEEKS prior to the event. Requests placed after the three week deadline may not be able to be posted or broadcast on the air, due to time constraints.

We also ask that your parish or organization display materials that promote Catholic 540 Divine Mercy Radio at your church or event in exchange for this free promotional service. These materials will be shipped to the address you provide us at no cost to you.

Due to limited space, we can only consider events that provide Catholic edification or education or are fundraisers for Catholic organizations. All events go through a review process to ensure this criterion is met.

If approved, the event is placed on our online calendar generally within one week after receipt of the submission, and is broadcast on the air during the two weeks preceding the event. The event may be broadcast sooner than the two week window when there is available air time. On-air announcements will be edited for time.

Knights of Columbus Jeremy Gould Charity Golf Tournament
October 6, 2020 (9:00 am - 2:35 pm)
Heritage Golf Course, Wake Forest

Dear Friends and Supporters

The Knights of Columbus Council 11234 from Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic Church is sponsoring our annual Charity Golf Tournament on Tuesday October 6, 2020. It will be held at the beautiful Heritage Golf Course in Wake Forest.

The Knights of Columbus is known for its charitable work and has provided significant volunteer support and financial resources to numerous local, state and national causes: In the Wake Forest community we support Meals on Wheels, Resources For Seniors, Special Olympics, Brown Bag Ministry, American Red Cross, Operation Harvest, Hurricane Relief, Children with Special Needs to local schools and other social Ministries within our Church community.

We are committed to continuing and enhancing our charitable work and the success of this Golf Tournament, which is our largest fund raiser, will enable us to continue meeting local needs and once again your financial assistance is required.

This year we are honoring one of our own, Jeremy Gould, who passed away May 2, 2019. As an active and ardent supporter of the Knights, past Chairman of this Golf Tournament and for all the work he has done for St Catherine of Siena, the School and Community sports programs, it is fitting that we recognize his efforts.

Whether your support is a major sponsorship, a hole sponsorship, cash contribution, gift card or in-kind contribution, you can rest assured that we are most appreciative and will use the proceeds to help those in need. In advance, we thank you for your support!

Please take this opportunity to assist us in our charitable work and a member of our Tournament Committee will explain how your support can be provided and answer any of your questions.
