Community Calendar

The Catholic 540-AM Community Calendar is a free resource to help promote Catholic events throughout the dioceses we serve. We ask that submissions be made at least THREE WEEKS prior to the event. Requests placed after the three week deadline may not be able to be posted or broadcast on the air, due to time constraints.

We also ask that your parish or organization display materials that promote Catholic 540 Divine Mercy Radio at your church or event in exchange for this free promotional service. These materials will be shipped to the address you provide us at no cost to you.

Due to limited space, we can only consider events that provide Catholic edification or education or are fundraisers for Catholic organizations. All events go through a review process to ensure this criterion is met.

If approved, the event is placed on our online calendar generally within one week after receipt of the submission, and is broadcast on the air during the two weeks preceding the event. The event may be broadcast sooner than the two week window when there is available air time. On-air announcements will be edited for time.

Leading and Loving
Fallon Center, Our Lady of Lourdes

Parents, we know that raising children in today’s secular society is challenging and raising holy and virtuous kids seems almost impossible some days! Would you like to learn practical principles and time-tested techniques to help empower you to raise the next generation of saints?

Join us on Friday May 14 from 7 to 9 pm and Saturday May 15 from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm for Family Honor’s program, Leading & Loving, designed for parents of young children, newborn through 5th grade.

Here is why you should register!

  • Parents will be empowered to be strong role models in teaching their children the answers to life’s most important questions, like “Who am I?” and “What is my life for?”
  • Parents will learn the meaning of real love and be given tips on how to speak to their children about chastity in age-appropriate ways.
  • Parents will be better able to answer some of their children’s challenging questions – all while cultivating virtue in their children and growing a joyful, faith-filled family.
  • Cost is $10 per individual or $15 per couple, paid to Our Lady of Lourdes.  To register, visit: https://www.ourladyoflourdescc.org/leading-and-loving-registration.

This is a two-evening event, May 19 and 20th, at which a group of panelists who grew up in a Communist or Socialist country will share their stories. The purpose of this is for people to hear truth from those who have lived it—which is why it will be a free event! There will be different panelists each evening so try to attend both evenings but you must register and indicate either or both nights. This is for students and adults of all ages--maybe ages 8+!
