Catholic 540-AM Divine Mercy Radio Wins Top National Radio Honor

(RALEIGH, NC – October 5, 2022) --- North Carolina’s largest Catholic radio station, Catholic 540-AM Divine Mercy Radio in Raleigh, NC (WETC-AM) received EWTN Global Catholic Radio’s top honor for radio production during the radio network’s affiliate conference in Phoenix, AZ on September 30th.

Catholic 540-AM was honored with the network’s Crystal Microphone Award for Best Top of the Hour ID from among EWTN Radio’s 350 affiliates. This is the 2nd straight year Catholic 540-AM received the award from the nation’s largest Catholic radio network.

The :15 ID recognizes and thanks donors who support the completely listener supported non-commercial radio station, licensed to Wendell & Zebulon, North Carolina. The ID was produced by Divine Mercy Radio’s Director of Programming & Production, Peter K. O’Connell.

EWTN Global Catholic Radio also commemorated Divine Mercy Radio’s 5th year as an affiliate during the conference.
